Muzinda Padel Court opens - 27 February 2025

 The padel court which is nestled in the Muzinda gardens opened on this day. The ceremony was attended by students, TUT officials and Posterity Management. According to Residence Manager, Mr. Andile Malefo, “The paddle court has become a hub of activity, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among students. It’s an excellent way for students to stay active, relieve stress, and have fun. 

At the opening ceremony Mrs. Trish Kugotsi a Director at Posterity said “At Posterity Student Living, we believe in investing in the holistic development of students. We’re thrilled to provide students with a world-class facility that promotes physical activity, teamwork, and socialization. The paddle court is an excellent addition to our student life offerings, it is more than just a recreational facility, it’s a platform for students to develop essential life skills like communication, strategy, and problem-solving. We’re excited to see the positive impact it’ll have on our students’ lives.” 

Mr Aaron Mogashoa, an Executive at TUTEH Prop commended Posterity for this investment into student life facilities . He went on to say as far as he knows, Muzinda Residence is the only student residence in the country with a padel court.  

Freshers Meet & Greet - April/May

After the hectic intake period all our three residences had some beautiful  moments during the Freshers Mee & Greet function.
It was all about welcomes, connecting , singing, games and lots of FUN! 

RCs Induction - 11 -13 April

It was a weekend of leadership training, networking, and lots of FUN! 

Nadia Bongiwe, the Student Life Manager at Posterity Living said “ the weekend retreat was a lovely occasion for student leaders to engage with management of Posterity Student Living. It was also a weekend of Fun & Games for everyone in attendance”    

Fathers Matter

In South Africa, most children grow up in homes without their biological fathers.  

Fathers Matter is a new campaign that uses the power of story to support the positive and active role of fathers or men in the lives of children. 

In the month of April Posterity Student Living invited Fathers Matter to engage with out students at our residences, imparting life important values to the young men in our residences.  

Harmony beyond the classroom!! September 2024

The Madeira Acapella Choir, one of the residence’s most esteemed groups, showcased its musical prowess by clinching the top spot in the TUT Battle of the Choirs Choral Competition. This achievement is a testament to the choir’s exceptional talent, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.

According to Mr. Mokete Radebe, the Madeira Property Manager, the choir is a shining example of the residence’s goal to empower students beyond the classroom curriculum. “The Madeira Acapella Choir is one example of our various initiatives to empower students beyond just the classroom curriculum. We aim to produce well-rounded graduates with every skill they need to conquer the economic and social challenges confronting society,” says Radebe.

Mrs. Trish Kugotsi, a Director at Posterity remarked “the choir’s victory reflects the unique programs designed by Posterity Student Living. We intentionally provide opportunities for students to develop socially, psychologically, spiritually and physically beyond academics, equipping students with the skills necessary to succeed in all aspects of life

Radebe, a former student leader himself, emphasizes the importance of these programs, saying, “As a former student leader, I understand the impact of student life activities on one’s development. Our goal is to produce graduates who are not only academically excellent but also socially responsible and well-rounded.”
